So you’re going to improve your local playground. What’s your great idea?

RISE is a homeschool/school choice resource center in Las Vegas. We do everything from helping parents choose charter schools to helping kids build rockets. We have a small little playground that is aimed at really young kids and it would be great to grow it for older kids. We also need more shade to turn the space into an outdoor classroom and possible garden

RISE is a nonprofit

How will you involve local volunteers in the playground project?

RISE is the hub for the school choice community in Las Vegas we are very good at leveraging our relationships to mobilize volunteers.

Tell us about the kids that will be using the playground.

Mostly homeschool kids throughout the year and in the summer we are seeing more of a mixed school background.
